7.Do we teach the revised Taxonomy?

We
all know that despite the introduction
of Outcome Based Learning and
Constructivist principles we continue to refer to the Bloom’s Taxonomy. The
1956 version of the Bloom’s Taxonomy was revised in 2001 as
follows:

But, do we
train our students to frame questions using the revised Taxonomy? Recently when I
visited the schools for observation of classes as part of Practice Teaching, I realized that it is quite important to provide
practice in framing questions based on the Revised Taxonomy.
Incidentally, our students are expected to conduct two Achievement Tests.
